Filipus Wisnumurti - Puncak Jaya, Op. 3b for Orchestra

This is one of my few composition that i'm proud of. The piece is about the highest mountain in Indonesia, Puncak Jaya, which is part of the Jayawijaya Mountain Range, and one of the very few place in the tropical area where you can find snow. The pieces is in a modified rondo form, and largely depicts the coldness of the wind and the snow, and the majesty of the maountain itself. The piece exists in 3 versions, for trio Piano/Violin/Flute version which was premiered in May 2018, for Chamber Orchestra which was premiered in January this year, and this version, the version for medium sized orchestra which hasn't been played before. The score of this piece is currently in the engraving process and i will publish it after the engraving process is done. Software : - Sibelius 7 - Noteperformer
