Walk Through Set up remote door lock using Electric Car Door Lock Actuator

Walk Through Set up remote door lock using Electric Car Door Lock Actuator. I did a short series on remote operated door locks using items such as a cheap RC toy car, a cheap remote switch, and also a full hobby grade RC set-up. Obviously you could just buy purpose built items for the job but I guess it is possible you could pick up these actuators from a scrap car so I thought I would get one and use it for another project. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In relation to the 2 pin jumper options, here are the instructions from a similar item on eBay (mine is no longer listed) 1,2,3 are the three possible combinations of the 2 pin jumper on the three tags. Output Working Way: 1. Jog: Pressing one button is working. Loosing your finger on the same button is stop. (need one channel switch and one buttons remote control) 2. Self-lock: Pressing one button for one time is working. Pressing the same button again is stop (need one channel switch and one buttons remote control) 3. Inter-lock: Pressing one button is working. Pressing another button is stop (need one channel switch and 2 buttons remote control) 4. Please notice that here is 1CH and 1 button wireless remote control. You can choose the self-lock or jog working/ output way, you better choose jog or self-lock, so pressing the button is open, and pressing again is close, or pressing is open, and loosing finger is close What I actually found with mine was without the jumper you press and hold either A or B button and the relay operates, then release the button and the relay releases. With the jumper across one pair of pins either A or B button operated the relay and a second press of either would release it. With the jumper across the other pair (mystery position) A or B button operates the relay but you have to press both buttons together to release it. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Filmed using Canon Powershot SX60 HS Edited using Serif MoviePlus X6 I am confident you could get these actuators from a scrap car in a junk yard but I bought mine on eBay to save me the effort.
