A childhood delicacy that you simply can't miss. These mouthwatering tarts have been the all-time-favourite since our younger days. We can't just get enough of them. These egg tarts are best served with your favourite HK Style Yin Yong (coffee + tea) or HK Silky Milk Tea. Enjoy!
Ingredients :
For the Pastry Dough
Unsalted butter - 105g
Icing sugar - 45g
Egg (beaten) - 30g
All purpose flour - 180g
For the Custard Filling
Caster sugar - 75g
Hot Water - 75g ( about 80deg)
Milk - 160g
2 eggs ( +-50g/egg)
Egg (beaten) - 20g
12 tart mould ( grease with some butter)
Bake at 190°C/374°F for 20-25 minutes
